Deep Purple to release new studio album on July 19th

Hard Rock pioneers Deep Purple have announced the release of a brand new studio album. Due out on July 19th via , "=1" is their first album of original material since 2020's "Whoosh" and the first record to feature new guitarist Simon McBride, who replaced longtime axeman Steve Morse two years ago.

Their previous album, 2021's "Turning to Crime" was a collection of covers. Like every album since 2013' "Now What?!", "=1" was produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin. The first single from the new record will arrive on April 30th.
