Friday's Playlist: Ego Bands

This Friday, we indulge in a little bit of novelty. We are featuring groups named after their leader. Not solo acts, but actual bands whose name is the same as one, or in Van Halen's case two, of the musicians in the band. Which means that it can't be, for example, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band or the Rossington/Collins Band. Even Alice Cooper is off limits as Vincent Furnier only changed his name after the original group disbanded.

Friday's Playlist: Gorgeous Vocal Harmonies

>

Happy Friday!

In this Playlist we feature beautiful voices meshing together, and creating gorgeous harmonies. There are numerous bands that are famous for that: you could fill several playlists of beautiful harmony songs performed by The Everly Brothers, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, or any permutation of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, including their works with The Byrds to the Hollies.

Keep on Rockin' in a COVID-free World

If forced to chose between loudmouth "comic" Joe Rogan or music legend Neil Young, I'll chose the old hippie every fucking time. But the beauty of it is you DON'T have to chose. We all know the main reason Neil Young is leaving Spotify is because it's a shitty service that doesn't pay the artists squat. The Rogan thing was just the last drop in an ocean of suck.
