Arch Enemy @ Zénith, Paris - October 8th, 2024

Death Metal has become so popular that the flag bearers of the Melodic branch of the genre are now playing small arenas all over Europe. Headlining a mind blowing bill over Soilwork and In Flames, Arch Enemy delivered a punishing performance path the Zénith in Paris, showcasing frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz' mesmerizing charisma and Metal legend Michael Ammott' guitar wizardry.

The band tore through a killer setlist that spanned nearly their entire discography, blending crushing new material from their upcoming record "Blood Dynasty" with fan favorites like "Nemesis" and "War Eternal."

The jaw-dropping lights and backdrop added a theatrical edge to the chaos, perfectly complementing the epic compositions which are really an updated take on the classic Heavy Metal sound, with harsher vocals. With a perfect balance of aggression and melody, Arch Enemy’s performance was a testament to their place at the top of the melodic death metal scene, proving once and for all that if the mainstream will have them, they are fucking ready, and then some.
