Back in September 2022, Blue Oÿster Cult celebrated its half century of existence with three sold-out shows at Sony Hall in New York City. A veritable B.O.C.'s fan dream come true, each show boasted a different setlist centered around one of their first three records (Blue Öyster Cult, Tyranny and Mutation, Secret Treaties) played in its entirety and a second set full of classics and deep tracks. Former member Albert Bouchard appeared each night to help his ex-bandmates celebrate this milestone.
On December 8th, 2023, they will release the first set on Frontiers Music. The double CD comes complete with a DVD/Blu-Ray of the performance. The other two sets will also be subsequently released.
