Rhiannon Giddens has announced a handful of European tour dates and she'll be performing in Créteil near Paris in February for the Sons D'Hiver Festival. .Check out the details in the embedded tweet below.
Sons d'Hiver is a festival that takes place in several venues on the outskirts of Paris and which is centered mostly around jazz and its many iterations. Giddens will be joined on this date by Leyla McCalla, her former bandmate in the Carolina Chocolate Drops. They had also collaborated together on a project called Our Native Daughters, which we are still hoping to see perform on this side of the Atlantic some day.
