Well, it's past midnight here in Paris, which means there are only four days until Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit's new album Weathervanes is released! It's been less than two years since the release of concept cover album Georgia Blue but over three years since Reunions, the last record of original material.

Jason Isbell has already shared four out of the thirteen songs that comprise Weathervanes, and if they're anything to go by (and of course they are) then this is another excellent vintage. But when has Isbell ever let us down?

Well, we do have one bone to pick with the guy: it's been nearly six years since he's last played our neck of the woods... Yes, we are aware that there's been a worldwide pandemic. Still: a European tour is in order.
