Rhiannon Giddens has released the first excerpt from her upcoming album You're The One, scheduled for release on August 18. These last few years have been very busy for Giddens, between serving as Silkroad's artistic director, winning a Pulitzer prize, playing concerts the world over and releasing albums with her partner Francesco Turrisi.
Blues, Folk, Country, Cajun, Jazz, Opera, Gospel... The North-Carolina native plays it all on banjo, violin, guitar, and her spellbinding voice.
