Watch Metallica's performance of Master Of Puppets on Jimmy Kimmel Live and pre-save their new album here

Heavy Metal juggernaut Metallica is releasing their new album 72 Seasons tomorrow and they're hyping the release by playing a week-long "residency" at the Jimmy Kimmel Live talk show. Last night, they played their anthem, the absolute classic Master Of Puppets...

Released in 1986 on the album of the same name, it is rightly considered one of the foundations of Heavy Metal as we know it today. The younger generations might be familiar with the tune since its inclusion in the latest season of the Netflix show Stranger Things. At once brutal and melodic, it is an unstoppable, unrivaled block of Progressive Thrash Metal. You can check out the performance in the embedded YouTube video below.

You can also pre-save the album on Apple Music in the embedded player provided at the bottom of the page.

Metallica will be embarking on a world tour in support of the album. This tour will see them perform two shows in each city, with two different set lists each time. They will be playing at the Stade De France in Saint Denis (in the outskirts of Paris) on May 17 and May 19. Click HERE to get tickets.
