Lizzy Hale and her band are flying the hard rock flag high: their shows are a celebration of all things rock, from her dynamic stage presence and muscular vocals to Joe Hottinger's guitar solos. They have a leather studded boot in classic metal (references to Priest and Maiden abound) while the other one is firmly planted in modern alternative rock.
Their set revolved around their killer current record Back From The Dead, but they of course peppered the set list with some of their older tracks, but the crowd, deservedly, went wild for both. An excellent, energetic set which was the perfect appetizer for the main course that was about to follow.
