Upcoming Gigs

Things are heating up on the live front... After a phenomenal 2021/22 season (check out our recaps HEREHERE and HERE), 2022/23 is on track to be one of the busiest in terms of live shows. Concerts and tours are still getting cancelled here and there, but it seems like we're almost back to normal, pre-pandemic times. Of course, three years worth of live shows are being crammed into the next few months, and maybe the bubble will burst but in the mean time let's enjoy what we have!

Deafheaven @ Élysée-Montmartre, Paris - September 30th, 2022

Deafheaven have been dispensing their blend of post-rock and black metal for over a decade. Sunbather remains a masterpiece of the genre, and no doubt that it will feature heavily in their setlist, alongside their excellent new record Infinite Granite, released last year, which highlights their quieter, shoegaze side.

The mighty Saxon is returning to Paris with special guests Diamond Head for a crushing evening of New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Come experience the sounds, sights and smells of denim, leather and beer and get your tickets HERE.

Bermudian singer/songwriter Heather Nova is touring Europe in support of her covers album Other Shores, and much like the stripped down approach of the record, she is paying in a solo acoustic format in smaller venues. This intimate format is sure to please fans of her alternative pop/rock.

Marillion have been one of the best, most successful progressive rock bands for several decades. They've kept reinventing themselves through the years and the line-up changes, releasing several masterpieces, including their latest record An Hour Before It's Dark

The two Parisian dates of Blue Öyster Cult are a rare treat, as they haven't been here since a memorable double bill with Uriah Heep at the Olympia back in 2009. It'll be good to finally hear their numerous classics again (including hopefully my personal favorite Astronomy), as well as selections from their first new record in nearly twenty years The Symbol Remains and once again witness Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma set the city on flame with their rock and roll.

Over a decade ago, Simply Red frontman swore that he would retire the band and stop releasing records and touring under the legendary moniker. Thankfully, he had a change of heart and the band is now in nearing forty years of existence. As promised on the poster, this tour will feature all the hits like Holding Back The YearsStars, and their rendition of If You Don't Know Me By Now... Songs that were the soundtrack of the 80's and 90's generation and have now rightfully become classics.

Bryan Adams @ Dôme de Paris, Paris - December 12th, 2022

Bryan Adams is touring in support of his latest album So Happy It Hurts, another collection of perfectly crafted rock anthems and ballads where he plays most of the instruments himself. Of course, the Canadian rocker will also be playing his astounding number of hits and classics... Because he'd probably get lynched if he didn't!

While her former bandmates in Nightwish are touring the world in support of Human: II : Nature, Tarja is touring behind her most recent record In The Raw, showcasing her more Metal leanings. Do not pass the opportunity to catch one of the originators of a style that has spawned many imitators.

By the time Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band hits our shores, it will have been six years since they last toured. Bruce and his acolytes have kept busy of course, but the magic that they create when they join forces, the almost religious experience of an E Street Band show and the communion between Bruce and the fans have been sorely missed the past few years. And with rumors of a new record with the full band circulating, 2023 is looking pretty good for the Springsteenites. Welcome back, boys and girls!

Over four years after having brought down the house with Jonny Lang and Kris Barras, Walter Trout and his  Fender Stratocaster are returning to Paris to treat us to an evening of fiery blues rock and incendiary guitar licks. A veritable road warrior, a seasoned veteran of the rock n'roll wars, the Texas guitarist has a new lease on life and is wasting no time releasing one fantastic album after another and touring the world. The new one is called Ordinary Madness, and it's killer.
