Summer Cleaning: Merch and memorabilia

Summer Cleaning is almost over! This is a photo dump of some music-related toys and trinkets I've photographed through the years. Some are mine, some I've just seen in shop windows. Some were bought at the merch stand at a show, some were bought online, some were bought in a real brick-and-mortar store.

We'll be back from vacation next week and hopefully our next concert won't be too long after that...

Enjoy, comment and share!

Iron Maiden Flight 666 Boeing 747 Model

I saw this model at the gift shop of Le Bourget Air and Space Museum. Nicknamed Ed Force One, this Boeing 747 was the one on which the band, the crew and all their equipments traveled in on their 2016 The Book Of Souls world tour. The aircraft was piloted by Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson himself!

Iron Maiden Somewhere In Time Puzzle

Bought this online to help kill time during lockdown in 2020. One of my favorite Maiden album covers!

Ray Charles Pin

I bought this one at a Ray Charles show on November 28th 1993. Opening for the legend was Maceo Parker with his Horny Horns acolytes Fred Wesley and Pee-Wee Ellis. A fantastic night of Funk, Soul and Rn'B.

BB King Pin

This was thrown at his adoring fans by the man himself at the end of a show on June 29th, 1996. His pockets were full of them!

Alice Cooper Dollar Bills from 1997

These dollar bills adorned with the face of Alice Cooper were impaled on his sword and then thrown into the audience at the second of two shows he played at the Bataclan in Paris on June 30th and July 1st, 1997.

Alice Cooper Funko Pop in Monterey, CA

I saw this Alice Cooper Funko Pop at the Del Monte shopping center in Monterey, CA in August 2018.

Sparks Kimono My House Fan

I bought this fan at a Sparks show on October 1st, 2017. It is adorned with the front and back covers of their classic 1974 album Kimono My House.

This fell from the sky the ceiling at the very last Black Sabbath show on February 4th, 2017.
