This Friday's playlist isn't an April's fool post. It's a compilation of some of John McGeoch's greatest moments. McGeoch had a short career and is somewhat forgotten today. This is criminal. Check out his work with Siouxsie & the Banshees, Public Image Ltd., or Magazine and marvel at his unique approach to the guitar.
Some his best work is on the Armoury Show's lone album Waiting for the Floods, which is unfortunately unavailable on the Apple Music French store which we use to curate our playlists. You'd be wise to track down a copy of the record (on vinyl, preferably). It's a great album that's best remembered for the hit single Castles in Spain.
