Two and a half years ago we gave you a sprawling playlist the wonderful atrocities committed by Hair bands. Well, consider this part two. It's all there: schmaltzy lyrics, syrupy melodies, ham-fisted power chords, cheesy synthesizers...
If you grew up during that era, no doubt this was the soundtrack to your first horny slow dances at drunken teenage parties. So pull out your acid-washed jeans (if they still fit) and go buy some aqua-net, put on this playlist and relive your first finger-banging experience.
If you're too young to have lived through it, first take a second to appreciate how lucky you are. Then make sure no one else is around: this is as shameful as anything you'll ever do. Then press play and listen to the ultimate guilty pleasure playlist.
But jokes aside, those songs have stood the test of time. They are actually great songs full of drama, heartbreak and most importantly melody. These songs have hooks for days. If you can resist the power of November Rain or Never Say Goodbye, you might be a robot. In which case, what are you doing listening to music in the first place?
