I didn't expect the announcement that the Porcupine Tree camp had been teasing to be anything more than a retrospective album, or old outtakes but I'm glad I was proven wrong! A new album for June 2022 and a world tour are in the works!
It seemed like Steven Wilson had outgrown the Neo-prog stylings of the famous band, but thankfully he has seen the light! And Gavin Harrison, busy with the similarly initialed Pineapple Thief (who played an epic set in Paris a little over a week ago) and seminal innovators King Crimson was also coaxed back into the fold along with ex-Japan keyboardist Richard Barbieri. Now the question is, what happened with Colin Edwin? Surely O.R.k isn't keeping him THAT busy that he can't take part is this... In any case, this is very exciting stuff!
