Eluveitie @ Élysée-Montmartre, Paris - December 1st, 2019

Headlining this diverse Metal package, with support from Infected Rain and Lacuna Coil, is Swiss Celctic/Folk/Pagan Metal outfit Eluveitie, touring in support of their latest record the epic Ategnatos.

They have recently undergone a few major line-up changes, but this has in no way altered their sound or their concert presentation. Their mix of Metal and traditional instruments (celtic harp, violin, hurry curdy) is as original as it is evocative.

The harsh growls of Chrigel Ganzmann are wonderfully completed by the lyrical vocals of Fabienne Erni, who also plays the Celtic harp. A fantastic light show, mystical theatrics and breathtaking back drop all make for an impressive experience.

Most of the repertoire came from their newest record, but they didn't forget their older fans by playing classic from Helvetios, Everything Remains As It Ever Was and Evocation II.

A great set by a band that makes you dance, sing and cry while never forgetting to stay heavy.
