Altitudes and Attitude @ le Zénith, Paris - February 22nd, 2019

Altitudes and Attitude is a metal supergroup of sorts: its creative forces are Dave Ellefson and Frank Bello, bassists of thrash giants Megadeth and Anthrax respectively.

This project is a little more on the rock side, with the choruses being all extremely melodic. Bello isn't the greatest singer, and the material is more than a little generic, but it was a good surprise nonetheless.

I was in a pretty rotten mood when I got into the venue because my little compact camera had been confiscated by the security meatheads, but they played a very pleasant set that ended with Ace Frehley's Rip It Out and KISS' Detroit Rock City. Good fun.
