Strolling down Sunset

While in SoCal for the last show of this leg of the GN'R tour, it would be silly not to drive down to L.A. for a little rock and roll pilgrimage.

If you're into movies and music like I am then Sunset Boulevard holds a mythical place in your imagination. I hadn't been here in years, decades even and it's good to see that things haven't changed. All the legendary rock clubs are still there and although it shut down years ago the famous Tower Records store is still standing.

I had quick lunch at the fabled Rainbow Bar & Grill but unfortunately they are only inaugurating their Lemmy statue tomorrow, so I didn't get to see it... Guess I'll have to come back.
