During a work trip to the Cannes Film Festival I was lucky enough to get invited to this private concert by Jamiroquai in the function room of the famed Hotel Martinez. Seeing such a big band in such an intimate setting was a privilege and Jay Kay and the band were on fire, playing all their hits for a rabid audience.
Corporate gigs like these can be hit or miss, since the audience isn't necessarily comprised of fans of the band but in this case everyone was dancing throughout. Such is the power of the Funk!
